If You Need Help Now

If you or someone you care about is experiencing a mental health crisis, you do not have to manage it alone. Help is available.

The Milestone Center is an outpatient practice and does not provide emergency or 24-hour crisis services. Messages submitted through this website, email, voicemail, contact forms, or the patient portal are not reviewed immediately and should not be used for urgent or emergency situations.

If there is an immediate threat to your safety or the safety of someone else, a medical emergency, or you are unable to remain safe, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

For immediate mental health or emotional crisis support:
Call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

For local crisis support in Harford County:
The Klein Family Center provides 24/7 crisis counseling and Mobile Crisis Response.

1-800-NEXT-STEP (1-800-639-8783)

Walk-in crisis services are also available at the Klein Family Center in Bel Air daily from 9:00 AM–9:00 PM, including holidays.

If you are unsure whether your situation is an emergency, it is always appropriate to seek immediate help.
