Insurance and Payment Options

At The Milestone Center for Integrative Health, we believe that access to quality, compassionate care should be as simple and transparent as possible.

Your mental health matters. If you are experiencing financial hardship, please contact us. Our team can provide guidance and community referrals to help ensure you receive the care you need.

For a complete description of our billing procedures and payment authorizations, please refer to the Financial Policy & Payment Agreement included in your intake forms.

Insurance Partners

We currently participate in-network with Aetna, Medicaid, and United Healthcare.

We are in the process of joining additional major networks, including CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and Cigna, with expected participation by the end of 2025.

If your plan is out-of-network, you may still be seen as a self-pay client. Upon request, we will provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your plan’s out-of-network benefits. Clients remain responsible for all charges at the time of service.

Current Self-Pay Rates

  • Initial Comprehensive Evaluation: $350

  • Extended Follow-Up (at provider’s discretion): $200

  • Follow-Up (established clients): $150

Payment is due at the time of service.

Payment Methods

We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards.

To simplify billing and ensure continuity of care, all clients are required to keep a valid payment method on file. Your payment information is securely encrypted through a HIPAA- and PCI-compliant system, and our staff do not have access to your full card details.

Authorized charges may include:

  • Copays, coinsurance, and deductibles

  • Self-pay visit fees

  • Missed-visit or late-cancellation fees

  • Administrative requests, such as forms or letters

Electronic receipts are issued for all transactions.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Missed or late-canceled visits may result in a $50 fee (not billable to insurance). Repeated missed appointments may affect future scheduling.

Administrative Requests

Completion of forms, letters, or documentation outside standard visits may involve an additional fee. Fees vary based on complexity and are due at the time of request.
