Meet the Team

  • Karen Green, CRNP, PMHNP

    CO-FOUNDER

Karen Green has over two decades of experience supporting the mental health and wellness of children, adolescents, and families. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of psychiatric conditions in children as young as four through adolescence, using an integrative, evidence-based approach that addresses the whole person—not just the symptoms.

In addition to her clinical training, Karen holds a Functional Nutrition Certification, allowing her to guide patients in using food as medicine to optimize brain health, energy, and emotional balance. By blending nutrition, lifestyle interventions, and psychopharmacology, she helps families develop sustainable, holistic strategies that support long-term well-being.

Karen works closely with parents, schools, and other providers to ensure care is coordinated and meaningful. Her goal is to create a collaborative, trusting environment where every child and adolescent can thrive.

  • Melissa Schlothauer, CRNP, PMHNP

    CO-FOUNDER

Melissa Schlothauer has over 18 years of clinical and leadership experience across critical care, rehabilitation, and outpatient psychiatry. Melissa brings both depth and innovation to her work in mental health care.

Melissa specializes in treatment-resistant depression, postpartum anxiety and depression, and neurodevelopmental conditions, with advanced training in the treatment of behavioral challenges among patients with autism.

Her approach integrates evidence-based psychiatry with compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. Melissa believes healing begins when patients feel heard, understood, and supported as whole people—not defined by diagnosis. She is passionate about helping individuals and families build resilience, restore balance, and thrive at every stage of life.
