Insurance and Billing

At Milestone, we believe that access to quality, compassionate care should be as simple and transparent as possible.

Your mental health matters. If you are unable to afford services at this time, please contact us and we will provide guidance and referrals to help ensure you have access to the care you need. You can also view a list of resources by clicking below:

Current Self-Pay Rates

  • Initial Comprehensive Evaluation (60 minutes): $300

  • Follow-Up Consultation (30 minutes): $200

  • Medication Management Follow-Up (15 minutes, established clients only): $125

Payment is collected electronically and is due at the time of service.

Insurance

We are currently out-of-network providers, but we are in the process of becoming credentialed with all major commercial insurance companies as well as Maryland Medicaid.

For clients wishing to use their out-of-network benefits, we are happy to provide a superbill you may submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. Please note:

  • Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your plan’s benefits.

  • Your deductible, coverage limits, and out-of-network policies apply.

  • Clients remain responsible for the full cost of care at the time of service.

Financial Policies

  • Milestone requires all clients to keep a credit card on file. This allows us to streamline billing for appointments, copays, and any outstanding balances. Your card will never be charged without your consent.

  • Your payment information is securely stored through a trusted, HIPAA-compliant payment processor that uses industry-standard encryption to protect your financial data. Our staff do not have access to your full card information at any time.

  • Cancellations/No-Shows: We request that you cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Missed appointments or late cancellations may result in a $50 cancellation fee.

  • Paperwork Requests: Please understand that there are additional fees for forms, letters, or other documentation that are requested to be completed outside the appointment window.

  • Please take the time to review the complete list of office policies included in your new patient intake forms.
